On 5 August 2020 Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Ryabkov met with the Head of European Union Delegation to the Russian Federation Markus Ederer.
At the meeting topical points on the international agenda were discussed with a focus on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action to settle the situation around the Iranian nuclear programme. Certain issues of arms control were also addressed.
