On September 27-28, Vienna hosted this year’s fourth informal meeting of the participants of the “5+2” format on Transnistrian conflict settlement (Moldova and Transnistria being the parties in conflict, OSCE the mediator, Russia and Ukraine the guarantor countries, European Union and US the observers).
The state of the negotiation process, the activities of the Moldovan-Transnistrian working groups on confidence-building measures and prospects for the resumption of “5+2” talks in the official format were discussed.
