On 22 June in Moscow Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met Ambassadors of the 27 EU Member States and the Head of the European Union Delegation to Russia.
Development of Russia-EU cooperation in the first half of 2011 received positive assessment. The meeting encompassed review of the results of the Russia-EU summit held on 9-10 June in Nizhny Novgorod, prospects of further cooperation, key topics on the international agenda, including European security issues, discussions on European anti-missile defense, situations in the Middle East and North Africa, as well as current state of affairs in Transcaucasia.
Sergey Lavrov also answered questions of the participants of the meeting.
