A telephone conversation took place on July 21 between Russian State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Grigory Karasin and Pierre Morel, Special Representative of the European Union. During their conversation they touched upon themes relating to the Geneva Discussions on Security and Stability in Transcaucasia in the context of the just concluded trip of the discussions’ co-chairs – representing the EU, OSCE and UN – to Georgia, Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
