On 12 November Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alexey Meshkov, hosted a meeting with Head of the EU Delegation to the Russian Federation, Vygaudas Ušackas.
In the course of discussion a substantial exchange of views took place on key issues of Russia-EU cooperation in the context of preparations for upcoming Russia-EU political contacts. Special attention was given to the necessity of tangible progress towards a visa-free travel regime.
