Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alexey Meshkov, meets Head of the EU Delegation to Russia, Vygaudas Ušackas

On 10 September Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alexey Meshkov, received the newly appointed Head of the EU Delegation to the Russian Federation, Vygaudas Ušackas, who presented him copies of his credentials.

During the ensuing conversation, prospects of promoting Russia-EU relations were discussed. Special focus was made on introducing a visa-free regime for short-term travels of Russian and EU citizens, expansion of trade and economic ties and enhancing energy cooperation.
