Russia – EU Consultations on OSCE and Council of Europe

On 8 November 2021 another round of Russia – EU consultations on issues related to the OSCE and the Council of Europe took place in Brussels.

The parties exchanged views on a wide range of points on the pan-European agenda. Preparations for the OSCE Ministerial Council planned in Stockholm on 2–3 December 2021 were discussed. Approaches to elaborating the Council of Europe budget and programme for 2022–2025 were outlined.

The meeting reaffirmed the importance of regularly "comparing notes" on key aspects of OSCE and CoE activities.
