Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko meets Deputy Secretary General for Political Affairs of the EEAS Enrique Mora

On 3 February 2021 Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko met with Deputy Secretary General for Political Affairs of the European External Action Service Enrique Mora.

In the course of the meeting a detailed discussion was held on the situation in Ukraine and Belarus, issues of Nagorno-Karabakh settlement, as well as state of affairs in Central Asia. The Russian side emphasised the importance for the EU to adopt respectful and equal approaches in its work in the Eurasian space, based on due account of the interests and traditions of the countries of the region, their accumulated cultural, historical and humanitarian ties, as well as mutual rights and obligations in the multilateral integration relations they participate in.
