On 29 May 2020 Ambassador Vladimir Chizhov, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the EU, had a phone conversation with Deputy Secretary General for Political Affairs, Political Director of the EEAS Enrique Mora.

They exchanged views on the state and prospects of Russia – EU relations and on the state of play in the field of European security. The settlement in Libya, situation in the Western Balkans and other topical international issues were also discussed.
