On 11 March 2020 Ambassador Vladimir Chizhov, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the EU, met with Mr. Frans Timmermans, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission for the European Green Deal.

An exchange of views took place on combating climate change and Russia-EU cooperation on climate and energy, including in the context of the “European Green Deal” initiative.
