Russia – EU consultations on Latin America

On 13 February 2020 another round of Russia – EU consultations on Latin America was held in Brussels between Director of Latin American Department of the Russian MFA Aleksander Shchetinin and EEAS Managing Director for the Americas Edita Hrdá.

They exchanged views in a constructive and professional manner on Russia’s and EU’s approaches to building cooperation with countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, assessments of current developments in the region, and vision of the ways of settling crisis situations in LAC.
