On 19 November 2019 Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin received EU Special Representative for the Middle East Peace Process Susanna Terstal.

During the meeting, the officials exchanged views on developments in Palestinian-Israeli relations and reviewed other issues of mutual interest.

They expressed their firm opinions on the importance of unconditionally maintaining the international legal foundation for a settlement in the Middle East Peace Process, including the relevant UN Security Council resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
