Russia – EU expert consultations on trade are held in Brussels

On 10 December 2018 Director of the Department for Trade Negotiations of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Medvedkov held consultations with Director of the Directorate-General of the European Commission for Trade Ignacio García Bercero.

The parties discussed prospects of functioning of multilateral trade system within the WTO in the context of the ongoing rise of protectionism in international trade, as well as a number of current issues in Russia – EU trade relations.
