Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs A.Grushko meets the Head of EU Delegation to Russia, F.Valenzuela

On 13 April Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko received the Head of the Delegation of the European Union to the Russian Federation, Ambassador Fernando Valenzuela.

The parties thoroughly discussed all main aspects of Russia-EU interaction in political, economic and humanitarian spheres. Agenda of the meeting also embraced energy cooperation as well as the process of implementation of “Common Steps” towards visa-free short-term travel for Russian and EU citizens.

An exchange of views took place on the current state of negotiations on a New basic agreement and an agreement on cooperation in crisis management.
