Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov meets EU Ambassador to Russia Markus Ederer

On 28 June Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met the Head of the European Union Delegation to Russia Markus Ederer.

Review of the current situation took place, focusing on problematic issues and ways of normalising Russia-EU relations. The Russian Minister stressed the importance of fully reviving sectoral dialogues suspended at the EU’s initiative and further intensifying Russia-EU foreign policy consultations on matters of mutual interest.

A number of topical issues on the international agenda, including settlement in Syria and Ukraine, was discussed.
