Press release on Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko’s meetings with Austria’s officials

On June 25, Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko had talks with Secretary General for Foreign Affairs of Austria Johannes Peterlik and Head of Division IV (Coordination) of the Austrian Federal Chancellery Alexander Schallenberg in Vienna.

During the meetings the officials discussed ways to resume dialogue and cooperation in the common European space. They had a detailed discussion of prospects for developing relations between Russia and the European Union in the context of Austria’s forthcoming presidency of the European Council.
