Ambassador Vladimir Chizhov meets Chairman of the EU Military Committee General Mikhail Kostarakos

On 12 December Permanent Representative of Russia to the EU Ambassador Vladimir Chizhov met Chairman of the EU Military Committee General Mikhail Kostarakos in Brussels. The meeting mainly focused on topical issues of maintaining security in Europe and in the world in general. The participants noted the importance of combining international efforts in combating terrorism and crisis settlement. General Kostarakos briefed the Ambassador on practical steps undertaken by the European Union to develop the organisation’s capacities in the area of security and defence.
