Meeting of the Economic Council under Russian Permanent Representative to the European Union

On 7 December the Permanent Mission of Russia to the EU hosted the regular meeting of the Economic Council under the auspices of the Russian Permanent Representative to the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community.

Topical issues of the Russia-EU relations, including interaction in various areas of sectoral cooperation as well as bilateral business dialogue were discussed at the meeting.

The Russian Permanent Representative’s Economic Council was established in December 2016 as a platform for consultations and discussion with representatives of the Russian business community of the state of affairs and perspectives of Russia-EU economic cooperation, as well as problems Russian businesses are currently facing in the EU. Its members include representatives of leading Russian companies and state enterprises active in EU Member States.
