On 17 October Ambassador Vladimir Chizhov, Russian Permanent Representative to the EU, met Mrs. Mariya Gabriel, Member of the European Commission for Digital Economy and Society.

The discussion revolved around a range of issues of mutual interest related to digital economy and information and communication technologies (ICT) development in Russia and EU. The current state and prospects of Russia-EU cooperation in the ICT area were also touched upon.
