Press release on Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin’s meeting with Head of the EU Delegation to Russia, Ambassador Vygaudas Usackas

On 28 September State Secretary and Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin received Ambassador Vygaudas Usackas, head of the EU Delegation to Russia, in connection with the completion of his mission in Moscow.

During the meeting the officials discussed the situation in Ukraine with an emphasis on the implementation of the Minsk Agreements and the Russian initiative to establish a UN mission to protect the OSCE SMM in southeastern Ukraine.

A number of regional issues were also addressed.
