On 18 January 2011 State Secretary/Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Grigory Karasin met the EU Special Representative for Moldova, EU observer in the negotiation process on the Transnistrian settlement Kalman Mizsei on the occasion of completion of his mandate.

The conversation covered the development of political processes in Moldova and their impact on the Transnistrian settlement.
