Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs/State Secretary Grigory Karasin received on December 6 the European Union Special Representative for Central Asia, Pierre Morel.

During their conversation the parties discussed the overall situation in Central Asia and exchanged views regarding the developments in the Kyrgyz Republic.

At Morel’s request, Karasin informed him about the outcome of the Third Caspian Summit held in Baku on November 18.
