Meeting of coordinators of the Russia-EU Partnership for Modernisation

The coordinators of the Russia-EU Partnership for Modernisation, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation A.A.Slepnev and Deputy Director General of DG External Relations of the European Commission, H.Mingarelli met in Brussels on November 16, 2010. Practical work in this new area of cooperation was launched at the 25th Russia-EU Summit on May 31 – June 1, 2010 in Rostov-on-Don. The meeting, with participation of designated representatives of the Russia-EU sectoral dialogues from Russian ministries and different Directorates General of the European Commission had constructive discussions on the contents of the Work Plan on Partnership for Modernisation and Coordinators’ Report on the progress achieved to the 26th Russia-EU Summit to be held in Brussels on December 7, 2010. These documents contain information on joint projects and activities on specific areas for cooperation under the Partnership for Modernisation.
