On 11 July Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov received Vygaudas Usackas, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Russia, for a brief conversation.

The parties discussed the current situation in Afghanistan and issues of the Brussels Conference on Afghanistan, scheduled for 4-5 October 2016.
