Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Alexander Grushko met in New York with Helga Schmid, Director of the Policy Unit at the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union, on September 23.

The parties discussed practical matters relating to the implementation of the decisions of the Russia-EU summit in Rostov-on-Don on May 31-June 1, 2010 as well as the course of the preparation for the OSCE summit in Astana.
