On 12 May Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov met with EEAS Deputy Secretary General for Political Affairs Helga Schmid.

The meeting focused on issues related to implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action to settle the Iranian nuclear programme.
