Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs/State Secretary Grigory Karasin received on May 11 the EU Special Representative for Central Asia, Pierre Morel.

An exchange of views took place on the situation in the Central Asian region.

Special attention was devoted to the conditions in Kyrgyzstan, including in the context of the preparation of a draft for its new Constitution and the organization of a referendum on this draft.
