On 3 December Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini on the margins of the 22nd meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Belgrade.

The Parties discussed certain aspects of Russia-EU relations, situation around Libya, as well as the conflict in Syria with a focus on the fight against terrorism in the country and prospects of a political settlement.
