On 20 October 2015 in Brussels Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the EU Ambassador Vladimir Chizhov met Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation, Carlos Moedas.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects of Russia-EU cooperation in the field of science and technology, as well as some practical issues of mutual interest, including the implementation of initiatives within the framework of the EU Programme for research and innovation "Horizon 2020".
