On 29 September Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov met EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini in New York on the margins of the 70th UN General Assembly session. 

The parties discussed in detail key issues of Russia-EU relations, as well as topical subjects on the international agenda, including the situation in Ukraine and on the Middle East.
