On 15 September Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov met with head of the EU Delegation to Russia Vygaudas Ušackas at the latter’s request.

The officials discussed the current situation in and around Syria, as well as the tasks of combating ISIS terrorist threat.
