On 18 May the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergey Lavrov met EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy / Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini in Brussels.

The discussion focused on international cooperation in combating illegal migration, a number of regional issues, as well as certain aspects of bilateral Russia-EU relations.
