Russian delegation took part in meetings of the Energy Charter

Sessions of the Energy Charter’s Strategy Group and Trade and Transit Group were held in Brussels on 28-29 April 2014. Adviser to the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, Director for Cooperation with the EU of the Russian Energy Agency, Mr. Theodor Shtilkind, took part in these events.

Discussions focused on the preliminary draft of the Updated Energy Charter, procedural issues of negotiating the document and the concept of the Energy Charter Early Warning Mechanism.
