On 2 March 2023, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Russian Mission to the EU Kirill Logvinov met with Permanent Representative of the People’s Republic of China to the European Union Ambassador Fu Cong.
Kirill Logvinov congratulated Ambassador Fu Cong on his appointment. He stressed that in recent years Russia-China relations of comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation had reached an unprecedentedly advanced point, which meets the interests of the internal development of our countries and contributes to strengthening their positions in the international arena. The highest level of trust, particularly in the political sphere, which is reflected in regular contacts between our senior officials and heads of state, constitutes a solid foundation for further progress in all areas without exception.
The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on topical issues on the current international agenda, as well as on trade and economic affairs.
