On 27 May 2021 Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko had a telephone conversation with EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Toivo Klaar at the latter’s initiative.
A useful exchange of views and assessments took place on the situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and progress in Nagorno-Karabakh settlement in the context of the work held by the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group.
The Russian side reiterated its call on the parties to resolve all problems in a peaceful way through negotiations. Russia is ready to continue providing all possible assistance to this process.
