On 28 May 2020 Ambassador Vladimir Chizhov, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the EU, had a phone conversation with Janez Lenarčič, EU Commissioner for Crisis Management.
They discussed issues of the international community’s efforts to curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, prospects of further Russia – EU cooperation in the field of civil protection, as well as certain aspects of the humanitarian situation in the world.
