On 7 February 2019 a traditional reception on the occasion of the Russian Diplomacy Day was held at the Permanent Mission of Russia to the EU. Russian diplomats led by Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the EU, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Vladimir Chizhov welcomed members of the European Parliament, officials from the European Commission, General Secretariat of the Council of the EU, European External Action Service, as well as representatives of Diplomatic corps.
In the course of the reception all participants had an opportunity to acquaint themselves with a photo exhibition devoted to the history of the Russian diplomatic service and milestones of the Russia – EU relations celebrating their 30th anniversary in 2019.
