On 18 February 2015 a reception on the occasion of the Defender of the Fatherland Day was held at the Permanent Mission of Russia to the EU. The event was hosted by heads of Russian diplomatic missions in Brussels. Participants included Belgian MFA and Defence Ministry officials, Military Representatives to EU and NATO, members of Defence Attachés Offices, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps.
Attention of the guests was attracted by a photo exposition showing insignia of services and troops of the Russian Federation Armed Forces, as well as modern Russian arms.
