Permanent Partnership Council

Permanent Partnership Council (PPC), which replaced Cooperation Council in 2003, is the main working body of the Russia-EU cooperation. PPC meetings are held in the format of Foreign Ministers as well as other Ministers. Regular consultations allow Ministers responsible for various policy areas to meet as often as necessary and to discuss specific issues. PPCs have so far been held with the participation of Foreign Ministers, Justice and Home Affairs, Energy, Transport, Agriculture, Environment, Culture, Science and Education Ministers.
