On 25 November, at EU initiative, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a telephone conversation with High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini.
Ms Mogherini expressed condolences over the Su-24 crash in Syria on November 24 as a result of a Turkish Air Force attack. The officials discussed prospects for Syrian settlement and the fight against terrorism in the light of the said tragic incident.
