On 3–4 December 2018 Special Representative of the Russian President for International Cultural Cooperation, Ambassador-at-Large Mikhail Shvydkoy held separate meetings in Brussels with the EU Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sports, Tibor Navracsics and European External Action Service Director for Inter-institutional relations, Policy coordination and Public diplomacy, Silvio Gonzato. The officials discussed the current state of Russia – EU cooperation in the field of culture and prospects for its development.
