On 15 February 2019 Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov met with High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini on the margins of the Munich Security Conference.
They discussed the situation in Ukraine, Venezuela and Western Balkans, settlement in Syria, issues related to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Actions on the Iranian Nuclear programme, as well as certain aspects of Russia – EU relations.
