On 21 February 2012, on a visit to Copenhagen, Mr. Alexander Konovalov, Special Envoy of the President of Russia for cooperation with the EU in the area of Freedom, Security and Justice, Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation, met Mr. Morten Bødskov, Minister of Justice of Denmark.
In the course of the meeting current issues of Russia-EU cooperation were touched upon, including visa waiver perspectives, common challenges in combating organised crime, illicit drugs and corruption, interaction on migration, civil and criminal law, as well as important aspects of bilateral relations between Russia and Denmark.
Mr. Konovalov also met Mr. Børge Dahl, President of the Danish Supreme Court, and visited the Command Post of the Copenhagen Police.
