On 15 February 2020 Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.
They discussed matters concerning the Middle East and North Africa as well as the situation regarding the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on the Iranian nuclear programme.
The parties also brought up some issues relating to Russia – EU relations.
