On 18 January 2022 Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov met with Deputy Secretary General for Political Affairs of the European External Action Service Enrique Mora.
The two officials discussed the outcome of the Russia – US talks in Geneva on establishing legally binding long-term security guaranties on Russia's Western vector, prospects of implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on settling issues around the Iranian nuclear programme, as well as the situation around Venezuela.
