On 15 January 2021 Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko received Ambassador of Portugal to Russia Paulo Vizeu Pinheiro at the latter’s initiative.
In the course of the meeting the Ambassador outlined the priorities of Portugal for its six-month presidency of the Council of the EU, which began on 1 January 2021. The Portuguese diplomat was informed, at his request, of the main results of the trilateral negotiations on settling the crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh held in Moscow on 11 January 2021. The officials also exchanged views on the situation in the CIS area.
