On 4 March 2020 Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Presidential Special Envoy for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov received the Head of the European Union Delegation to Russia Ambassador Markus Ederer at the latter’s request.
The meeting enabled an exchange of views on the unfolding situation in the Middle East and North Africa region with emphasis on developments in Syria and Libya, as well as prospects of a Palestinian-Israeli settlement.
