On 15 October 2020 Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Grushko held a meeting in Brussels with Secretary General of the European External Action Service Helga Schmid.
Current state of Russia – EU relations was discussed in detail. It was stressed that the EU line towards confrontation, including further illegitimate sanctions, will have serious consequences.
An exchange of views was also held on a number of topical issues on the international agenda.
