Russian delegation took part in the Nuclear Safety Centre Stakeholder's Conference

On 19 February 2019 a Russian delegation, comprising representatives of the Foreign Ministry, Federal Service for the Supervision of Environment, Technology and Nuclear Management (Rostekhnadzor) and the State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM took part in a Nuclear Safety Centre Stakeholders’ Conference in Brussels.

The event was organised by the European Commission jointly with the European External Action Service within the framework of implementation of Annex III of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on resolving the situation around the Iranian nuclear programme. The stakeholders reiterated their commitment to continue assisting Iran in establishing a nuclear supervisory authority as well as creating a Nuclear Safety Centre in Tehran. The conference took stock of intermediate results of efforts in this direction.
