On 1 December Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexey Meshkov and EEAS Deputy Secretary General for Political Affairs Helga Schmid held Russia-EU Political Directors consultations in Brussels.
The Parties discussed in detail the current state and prospects of developing bilateral relations.
Topical international issues, including the situation in Ukraine, Syrian settlement, fight against terrorism and migration issues, were also addressed in the framework of the consultations.
